County Cricket membership packages 2016: Part two

Following on from part one, we now have a look over the packages on offer from six more counties. Part two goes through Lancashire to Nottinghamshire, starting with the county from the North West who have a huge range to choose from. Remember, these are only intended to be guides. Please follow the links given for further information.

Kent

A range of membership packages are on offer at Canterbury in 2016. Kent’s main offer is called the All Rounder package, and for £230, you will gain entry to all fixtures during the season.

That price drops to £215 for over 65s, and £390 for the special family package, consisting of two adults and two children. If you want to attend throughout the season with a friend, Kent offer a £395 package, while if you live more than 75 miles from Canterbury, the All Rounder Country package costs £115.

Students get a hefty discount, costing £105 for the All Rounder membership, and a junior membership is just £20.

The All Rounder packages also come with a Gold Membership option, whereby for £20 more, the main card holder can transfer their card to another person to use.

For those only interested by white-ball cricket, the Spitfire membership is for you, costing £135 for entry to all One-Day Cup and T20 Blast fixtures. Finally, the Championship Plus package allows you entry to all County Championship and One-Day Cup matches at £190.

Lancashire

The guys over at the Red Rose club have put together a seriously comprehensive package of membership deals to entice every level of supporter. The packages span from the cheap and cheerful ‘Digital Membership’ which covers the standard benefits (listed below) as well as:

  • digital copies of SPIN magazine
  • and email updates

Standard benefits:

  • Membership card
  • Free membership gift
  • LCCC member voting right (for all members over the age of 18 on 01/02/2016)
  • Members’ offers on the club merchandise
  • Priority access to Cup Final and International tickets

To the Traditional Membership package including all of the above plus:

To the Lancaster and Red Rose memberships are the crème de la crème if you will.

Leicestershire

The David Gower Executive club in the pinnacle of Leicestershire CCC membership and, for the price of £450 single and £820 joint, has a large range of benefits. Amongst many others, it includes guaranteed parking at Grace Road and player appearances in the Gower Suite during matches.

Standard club memberships cost £140 for adults (aged 22 – 59) and £115 for over 60s. This level of membership has various perks, including admission to all LVCC and RLODC games at Leicestershire CCC and admission to LVCC matches at Nottinghamshire CCC. A Premium membership is similar, but also includes Natwest Blast matches. Premium is £195 for adults, £170 for Seniors, £60 for under 22s and students.

Under 16s can join the Charlie Fox club for just £10. Amongst many other things, membership includes entry to all Leicestershire home matches and a free training session with the club’s players and coaches.

Middlesex

Middlesex’s standard membership, giving free entry to all home matches as well as access to the Lord’s Pavilion, costs £265. Also on offer is Country membership, available to those living 50 or more miles from Lord’s, costing £176. Want to attend with a partner? For £133, the partner of a full Middlesex member living at the same address can purchase a membership, while that price is down to £88 for partners of Country members.

The student rate, applicable for those aged between 18 and 22, or those aged 23 and over but in full-time education, is £74. Under-18s can join for just £25, and get benefits such as a gift pack and an opportunity for a visit to the dressing rooms as well as a free coaching session. If you happen to be a cricket coach, umpire or other official within Middlesex, you can join at a discounted rate of £124.

Northamptonshire

Northants are a club who offer a vast range of benefits at very competitive prices. All memberships are priced up with an early bird discount if purchased before the 31st December.

The Premium Executive membership costs £360 from the 1st January or £320 prior to that. That gets you into all Championship and One Day group matches in the Executive Members lounge as well as a guest voucher booklet to bring friends along, complimentary tea and coffee at every game as well as a free scorecard.

The regular premium membership costs £259 (£219 before 1st January), which gets you the same benefits as the executive one minus the entry to the Executive Members lounge. There is also a standard executive membership at the same price, which is similar to the Premium Executive option but doesn’t include T20.

A standard membership at Wantage Road costs £180 (£160 in the discount time) and covers all Championship and Royal London Cup fixtures while those who only want a one-day membership can get one for £149 (£135 with discount). If you only want T20 then there is a special T20 membership option. That costs £109.

Northants also sell life membership, which ranges from £2280 to £4400 depending on which age range you fall into. Those aged 40 and under pay top whack at £4400 while anyone aged 60 and over are charged £2280.

Juniors aren’t forgotten either. A Steelers Club membership for the kiddies can be purchased for £15 and covers all competitions, which looks like a wonderful idea for a Christmas present.

Nottinghamshire

Adult membership at Notts CCC is £160 and available to those aged 25-64 on April 1st, 2016. It includes a number of things, including entry to all regular season matches and entry to the pavilion; priority access to finals tickets in the shorter formats, if they take place at Trent Bridge, and to international tickets for matches hosted by Nottinghamshire. In a reciprocal agreement with Leicestershire CCC, membership also includes entry to LVCC matches at Grace Road.

Over 65s can get the same benefits for £115. Those living more than 20 miles from Trent Bridge can apply for Country membership, which gives the same perks for £140. Under 25s will pay £80 for membership and under 21s just £36.

Junior membership is £26 and gives under 16s various things, such as 10% off club coaching and a £5 voucher to spend in the club shop, two free family tickets and admissions to the matches as for other members.
